I was looking at stories on drugs since we have been learning about them in health. I came across this story, and I thought this could happen to anyone. I had tears in my eyes, and as they started to fall I thought about how lucky I am to have friends that don't do drugs. You have to have true friends that won't pressure you to do drugs, and drink, and use tobacco, because that could lead to other drugs. Then soon after that it would be violence, and crime. I tressure you for putting that story of Pete in here. I think it will make alot of adolescents think twice. You are very inspiring to me, and everyone else who reads this. God bless you, and my prayers are with you.

I was looking up sites for a dtug project we are doing at school and i came across this story on a website and i cryed thinking about what drugs do to people. And not only the person, but his or her family. I don't do drugs and neither does my friends, that i know of, because of stories like these. I'm sorry for your loss, but thanks for posting the story to tell others about what drugs do to you! God Bless.

I am 15 years old. i just wanted to tell you that i grew up with my dad on drgs. We dont get along anymore. i just want to give you a few words about Pete, Im sorry that happened to him. he had such a short life to live. i dont know whati would do if i had ever lost my dad. he came so close to dying. thank god he didnt. right now im praying for all of the young people who pick up on such evil things. i have had people ask me if i eanted to try drugs but they dont pressure me. i try to tell them how bad addicting drugs can be, and that i wished they wouldnt do it. i had a friend that got ran over and killed, by a person who was drunk, high, etc. i regret seeing that again. anyways, i just wanted to tell you that i was sorry about pete and that i pray for everyone in the world who is on drugs and who need help. thanks for listening, Brandi

I am a mother of three young children and reading your story tears my heart out because I know how I would feel if I lost one of my children. They are very young yet, but I worry about when they get older and the issues that they will face in their coming of age years. I work for a D&A prevention agency and am doing everything I can to get the word out to the community about drugs and alcohol and the consequences. My heart and prayers are with you and your family always.
