I grew up with Pete and was over at his parents' house many times as a young kid. He was truly a great intelligent man, and a great person who would do anything for his family and friends. It saddens me every time I hear his name or think about his story.
Rinners, I wish you all the best as you continue to alert others of the harm drugs cause not only individuals, but also families.
With warm wishes, Marjoe Cooper

Hi Marci,
I too, had the privilege of knowing your brother. He was 2 years ahead of me in high school and I was a freshman when we met. He always gave me a ride home after school. I will never forget his smile and the kind, wonderful person he was. He could always make you laugh. I was out of town the day of services but my parents, Fred and Nena Smith attended for me. I commend you for your strength and courage to go on and to share his story. Thank you!

I'm only 16 years old and in my town almost all the teenagers use drugs. I've been offered them but refused and I will remember your story for many times to come and it will remind what can happen if I give into peer pressure.

A very touching story, it hits ya right in the heart. I hope that I NEVER get to experience losing a child or sibling to drugs. It takes a strong person to share their story with others and I commend you for looking out for others so they won't have to experience such a tragic loss first-hand.

A very powerful message. Thank you for sharing your experience through this heartache. It has certainly made me more aware of some signs to look out for in my children and other young people close to me. And has made me aware of the urgency of acting on any concerns I might have. I'm sure your work must have already saved lives and will continue to do so in the future. God Bless you all.

The story of your son, and brother is very heart-breaking. Just so you know I had a great aunt who died of the same cause, hopefully the message about how life threating these type of drugs are will reach the teens of America soon.
