I'm sorry about your loss. I know i will never make the wrong choice. I was with one of the schools the was on the Turbo Teens Retreat on Tuesday October 11th 2005. I learned that drugs hurt you as bad as you can wonder. Again i'm sorry and you all will always be in my prayers.

i listened to you speak at the fair grounds and i really felt sorry for you. my brother did drugs and i worried about him but i didnt say anything. but he stoped when he did a little to much and needed his stomach pumped. it scared me so much because he is my best friend. he stoped everything and now is happily ingaged, and still is my bestfriend.i really liked your story i think it really got to alot of us kids. now we all worry about our friends and want to keep them safe. well as safe as we can. but i know all my friends really liked your story. i just want to thank you for letting us hear that story and sharing all that with us because i kno i wouldnt be able to talk about it if my brother died. so thank you

I'm truly sorry for your loss. All day today, I've been reading several sites that are dedicated to people who have unfortunately lost their battles against substance abuse. I'm a young teen and I know how tempting it is to try "just one." But, after reading several of these sites, including Petes, I feel determined to not allow myself to.
Pete and his family will always be in my thoughts.
Thank you for inspiring me.

I found this site through iamdirt.com and then on to ourwall.net. Doing this in remembrence of your brother is an amazing thing to do! Youll be in my thoughts and prayers.

I found this site after it was sent to my son's site. Our son, Robby Nunes, left us on 4/16/01 due to an overdose of heroin. He was 19 years old. We share your pain. I too speak and educate every chance I get. It's how we heal, we fight! You are all in my prayers, may God bless you and grant you comfort. I pray in time your memories are sweeter and your pain less. http://www.geocities.com/dyingtogethigh/robbynunes.html

I just wanted to say that this story got my attention due to Pete's name, I am a Narcotic's Investigator with our PD and I was surfing the net for Teen Drug Abuse sites for an upcoming speech that I am going to be doing at my Church for our Youth Group, My heart goes out to Pete's family and it reminds me of why I get up and go to work each day trying to prevent another tragic story, Thanks for sharing Pete's Story,,,, Pete
