I am a recovering addict myself. I feel me and pete were the same kind of person and the story strikes very close to home. The story gives me strength to keep moving forward. Keep up the good work. God Bless

I just recently saw your organization in the 4th of July Parade, so I decided to check out the website. I think this is the greatest think anyone could do to show young people that drugs are not the way to go. Keep up the great work with your organization! God Bless!

Hi Marci! I saw you today at the Norwalk 4th of July Parade. I didn't realize you & your family were heading this wonderful orginazation. I am very proud of you for taking time out of your life to support this orginization. The lose of your beloved brother was an awful thing & I can't imagine doing this to try help others. It takes a very strong person to lose a family member & be able to talk about it daily to try to help others. I just thought I drop you this message & wish you & your family the best! Thanks! RECENTLY MY SON'S BEST FRIEND HAD A DRUG OVERDOSE. METH AND OXYCONTIN. HE WENT INTO A FULL CARDIAC ARREST. HE NEEDS A INTERNAL DEFIBRALATOR AND CAN ONLY GET THIS IF HE REMAINS DRUG FREE. IF HE DOESN'T GET THE DEFIBRALATOR THEY GIVE HIM 4 YEARS TO LIVE.PROBLEM IS KEEPING HIM DRUG FREE. HOW CAN WE HELP. EVERYBODY AROUND HERE KNOWS WHERE THE DRUGS ARE COMING FROM EVEN THE LAW AND NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

she is out there tonight, i wonder what she is doing... prostitution, theft, did she die tonight? as my family and i watch my once beautiful, extremley talented sister waste away from heroin use. we have legally tried everything through the courts, but with no real help she is out there once again. we have these visions in our minds of the people we once knew not what they have become. heroin took everything away from my sister of course everything noticable from the outside but even more disturbing everthing inside, her once caring heart, her softer side, her love of life. i wonder if she will ever come back? will she ever be the little sister i once knew and loved? what else is there left to do, she still continues to use. i am ready to find her tie her up and hold her like a prisioner or maybe she is already dead? what a nightmare, it is still so hard to believe. as family members watch there loved ones waste away we also die inside wishing and hoping and praying they come back but we watch this happen without drug use (hopfully) its real for us. the ugly truth is they really never come back the same way they once left, heroin takes away the innocents of all who are addicted to it, it hardens them , brings them into their own world where things like the truth, respect, loyalty and love are only words. as i write i only hope and pray my sister will be spared, one more time one more chance. my thoughts and prayers to all

When you came to share your story to us about you brother it was amazing. It had really made me think about drugs. I know a few poeple who smoke pot and i told then about Pete's Sake and now they are trying to quit. Thanks so much for sharing that story with us.

Wow....i know how you feel losing someone..its been a year this month that my dad has past away and its killing me inside. Im very sorry about your lost. And i support all that you are doing for your family..I would do the same.. My mom does some things that i dont approve of, but all she says is your only 18 you dont know. And i do know that she shouldnt be doing these things... But i just let it all up to God and pray for her....But you and ur family are in my prayers and in my heart..Thanx for coming out to my school and sharing your story.. Maybe some people will change there minds about Drugs and stop doing it.....And its funny how about 3 people that are my friends were high while you were telling your story..sad huh?..but they wont listen to me and it sux...but i will never give up on them

thank you so much
